The perfect time to visit.
Fall in NYC - is by far one of the prettiest times in New York. Whether its before they start putting all the holiday decorations up or after. The perfect month is actually October, in my opinion. Some may or may not know that I lived in NYC for about 4 years (I’m sure I’ve mentioned from time to time and there are some olddddd blog post from when I lived there on my site if you really dig around - here’s one for ya!). A city after my own heart. I loved every minute when I lived there and I’m always finding a purpose to go.
So, my hunny and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary per usual, typically we just do a nice dinner but this year we wanted to go somewhere. And since we went on a few sunny, beachy vacations in the summer we naturally were wanting a more cooler environment so, of course I threw out New York as an idea. I checked to see if the Dallas Cowboys were playing around our anniversary and they were! SO I planned a trip so we could see them play the Giants and I could see New York. :) While we were there I knew I wanted to see Hamilton on Broadway as well. We did see it. WOW!!! It was amazing!! Definitely recommend seeing if you are into musicals. The music was awesome! The actors were incredible! The set was fantastic! And overall, awesome experience. We also had dinner at our favorite restaurant in NYC - Catch! We’ve been going there since 2011 when it opened. Great food and love the ambiance of the place so that is always a must.
What’s your favorite city to visit?
We stayed at Hotel Hendricks in Midtown West. Pretty boutique hotel. Lovely staff. Amazing rooftop bar.
